About The Spinal Flow Technique
The Spinal Flow Technique blends the science of the nervous system with the body's innate healing intuition to help release stored stress and return to a state of balance. Stressors from many everyday activities - Physical, Chemical and Emotional, can cause what we refer to as Blockages in the spine. These Blockages restrict and disrupt the movement of the life force energy in the body. This restriction reduces the communication pathway for signals and messages from the brain to the rest of the body, ultimately resulting in pain, illness and DIS-ease presenting as many common symptoms. The focus of the Spinal Flow Technique is to make the nervous system feel safe so that it naturally shifts from a state of Fight/Flight to a state of Rest/Digest and Healing. By making gentle contact with some of the 33 access points in the Sacral and Cranial areas of the body, the life force energy flow is rejuvenated, stress blockages cleared layer by layer, eventually returning the body to a state of EASE. It is best suited to those seeking a non-invasive, natural treatment that focuses on getting to the root cause of symptoms and ill health.

About Practitioner Pippa
From Helicopters to Healing...
For many years, natural holistic health has been a unique interest and passion of Pippa's. Even in her past career of flying it was not uncommon for her to have books related to all things 'alternative' health tucked under the seat. In recent years of intense study and research she has developed a clear understanding that the mainstream medical approach to healthcare does not focus on root cause healing but rather offers temporary 'band aid' solutions to a compounding array of symptoms so many of us face today. Her on-going journey led her to the Spinal Flow Technique developed by Dr. Carli Axford, an Australian Chiropractor, who she has since trained under to become a Certified Spinal Flow Practitioner.

Is it a safe modality?
The Spinal Flow Technique is a completely safe and gentle modality. There is no physical manipulation and no contraindications with the treatment. It is beneficial for all ages from infants to the elderly.
What to expect during a session?
The sessions are performed with the client lying face down, fully clothed. Relaxing music will be playing while the practitioner makes gentle contact with specific access points on the body. It is normal during the session to experience emotions of joy and sadness, a sense of relief, feelings of increased breathing, lightness or simply deep relaxation.
How long for healing to happen?

Spinal Flow is not a 'Quick fix/Band-Aid' modality. The healing process takes time and depends entirely on the individual. Everybody is different and the body will decide what needs to be released and when. Some clients enjoy immediate results, others find that a succession of sessions will bring more profound relief from symptoms.
Frequency of sessions can vary depending on the severity of your symptoms. With acute and serious issues the primary focus is to reduce or eliminate symptoms initially with a close succession of sessions. This will result in far greater healing than the occasional 'once-off' visit. This might mean multiple sessions a week initially and then moving to a more corrective frequency plan to maintain optimal nervous system function - fortnightly, monthly or simply when you feel your body needs extra support during a stressful time.
